you're not going to slow it down

I never really intend to write anything for Star Wars. It's a fandom that occasionally ambushes me with ideas, and I usually send it away anyway. This fic was concepted sometime after episode 1 came out. I had a note in a text file on my computer for several years that said 'Qui-Gon is a happy phantom', and then several lines that made it into the completed fic. I'm fairly certain there's a line from Yoda at the end of episode three that nullifies the first part, but well. It's fanfiction. Things can be forgiven. Yet again, Un-beta'd. Spellchecked.
